About The Event

This will be an opportunity to foster deep and authentic connection by skipping past the “Hi, how are you? What do you do for a living?” and into “Where are you in this crazy human life? How is your heart?”. Let us open a medicinal space to explore alternative ways of connection and intimacy, outside of the norms of social rules and conditionings, but rather in a safe, communal, consent-centered container. This will be an opportunity to understand, see, feel, and move more clearly and deeply in relation with others, simultaneously opening a path back to Self.

The evening will be centered around intentional eye contact meditations, supported by Authentic Relating games and guided physical reconnection with our own and others’ bodies. Exploring eye contact will look like 10-15 minute sessions of non-verbal, uninterrupted eye contact with another person at the gathering. This alternative way of connection can help break us free from rigid social expectations and open up a realm of deep Seeing and Belonging that can be hard to access in our day to day lives, but is essential in our healing as a community.

Who should come? If you are a human with a beating heart and are breathing air, this gathering is for you! As a queer, disabled, neurodivergent Earth blob it is my deepest intention to make this a space for everyone to safely and authentically explore human connection which is just inherently super vulnerable!!! Seeing and being seen is uncomfortable! If this scares you, I highly encourage you to lean into that feeling as there is good good stuff on the other side of that fear! I too have some fears around organizing this gathering, but I know the fruit of moving through it to share in this space with others will be rich and ripe. This will be a wheelchair-friendly, low-light, consent-centered gathering. If there are any accommodation requests/questions please don’t hesitate to email me at

*All activities are optional and coming to this event DOES NOT mean you have to show up and engage in a certain way. Together, I plan on creating a space so we can more clearly hear our internal cues and safely explore the edges of our comfort zone. No’s are good and honored : )  *
