Come join us for an Introduction to Nonviolent Communication (NVC) workshop on Saturday, August 1st from 12 pm - 3 pm!
Nonviolent Communication is a process for navigating misunderstandings and conflicts by helping everyone involved hear the human needs beneath the surface. By moving past blame and judgment, we create the conditions for connection and increase the possibility of finding solutions that meet more needs.
Most of us have had the experience of saying something reasonable and watching it land badly — or being misunderstood. Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is one way of working with that gap: not by finding better words, but by getting curious about what's actually going on underneath the words in ourselves and in others.
