About The Event

Is there some event in your life that may feel unresolved—broken?

The ancient healing practice of the mending of a broken bowl is inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi.  It can help us restore and renew ourselves, and find beauty in both brokenness and repair.

"This ritual has meant a lot to me.  It has been a profound experience of retrieval and reclaiming; perhaps even a form of closure.  It has provided an opportunity to connect with love and compassion, to surrender and to trust.  I would love to share this process with you; to gather in community and allow what wants to be shared to be shared.  I hope this process will "feed" you.  As my mentor Jesua explained—“Alchemizing the dark allows it to transform into the light of your own heart, bringing it home to love”."  MJ Alger

Bowls to break will be provided. Or bring your own.
