Ecstatic Dance

A safe, family-friendly space to explore freedom of movement in our bodies, hearts and minds with a specifically curated set of music from all over the world that starts and ends quietly with a peak of energy in the middle. Your movement does not need to match the music. Ecstatic Dance is ideally done barefoot or in socks (if you need shoes, please bring indoor shoes), Bring plenty of water, an optional mat, and an open heart.

We will circle up promptly at START TIME to settle into the space, into our bodies, and into the community we are creating through our shared intention of letting our bodies lead the way in a non-judgemental space, held by community agreements we will share in

the space.

Matt Wasson (a.k.a., Mx Piggy and DJ Pisc3s), a career environmental advocate in Boone, NC who moonlights as an ecstatic dance DJ and yoga teacher, believes that music is a key ingredient for positive transformation and self discovery.
