About The Event
"I want to invite you to have an experience of deep self-reflection. I want you to say what you have never said before, think what you have never thought before, and write what you have never written before.  My teaching is a unique partnership where I assist people of all ages to navigate the social justice issues of these uncertain times through telling personal stories and reflecting deeply about who we are and what we have to contribute to our communities.  These interactive sessions engage participants to begin to explore the questions: Who Am I? and Who Am I as a Social Justice Being?  You will discover how your lived experiences shape who we are and what you believe. You will explore your consciousness about race, identity, and social justice constructs and how this informs/impacts how you show up in your life.   Together, we will create a safe space to tell our truths, discuss our discoveries, and grapple with uncomfortable topics. You will leave with a written legacy or an artistic representation to share with the future and you will have contributed to uniting the divisions in our communities."
This event is in-person and online. All registrants will recieve a link to join virtually.
