Meet Our Expert Presenters:
Carl Wilson, DBH, LPCC, CRADC
Carl Wilson brings extensive experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Anger
Management Facilitator, and Certified Human Behaviorist. His workshops include personality
assessments and practical skills rooted in behavioral science. Carl’s mission is to assist families,
individuals, and couples in transforming their relationships. His research focuses on co-morbid disorders
such as hypertension and anxiety, chronic pain, and depression.
Al Thomas, CNPS Trainer, CNLC, CNLP, CTt
Al Thomas is a National Peer Support Specialist with a forensic enhancement, Trainer, and Advanced
Level WRAP Facilitator for North Carolina. With a wealth of experience from St. Louis, Missouri, Al has
contributed to numerous forums and committees aimed at improving individuals' conditions and helping
them achieve their desired reality. He is the author of "The Blackout Life" and "Blueprint to Wellness,"
and teaches a 96-hour hybrid Peer Support course at Durham Technical Community College. Al
promotes self-help, self-advocacy, and other skills crucial for sustainable, long-term success.
