In stressful times, connecting with Nature provides a source of healing and joy, as well as a way to care for both personal and collective grief. The feminine energies of Nature, known as Ñust’as in the spiritual traditions of the Andes, are healing forces. Embodying the sacred feminine, they are honored for their blessings of creativity.  They provide support for an abundant and joyful life.

Ñust’as exist everywhere. They are connected to the elements, feminine mountains and bodies of water, and some local landscapes. Working with them strengthens our own capacity to heal: by harmonizing the masculine and feminine energies within us, and connecting us to our inner sources of wellbeing. We invite you to experience their power through community, ceremony and contemporary ritual.

In this intensive weekend workshop, you will connect deeply with seven primary Ñust’as associated with sacred sites in Peru and Bolivia, who represent archetypal energies of the Divine Feminine. Guided meditations, gentle movement, and practical exercises will help prepare you to receive seven Karpays, or energetic transmissions for each of the seven Ñust’as. These Karpays infuse the seven primary centers of the energetic body with vital living energy, or Kausay, to help connect you more deeply to the Ñust’as and Pachamama (Mother Earth), and to open your heart to the light within.

These sacred ceremonies were designed for people living in the West by the medicine men and women (paqos) of the Q’ero nation of Peru. They share them in fulfillment of the prophecies of their ancestors and to support humanity during these times of great change.

The  Ñust’a Karpay were first brought to the US in 2010 by elder paqo Don Mariano Quis’pe Flores, who first gave Lucinda the rites. She continues her studies with Don Mariano and with other teachers from Peru, including the female Ñust’a Paqos from Q’ero. Recent teachings of the Ñust’a Paqos will be shared in the workshop.

Sydney teaches embodiment practices and received these Rites from Lucinda and Petra LaBeau. Through them she has found great support and healing.  She looks forward to  sharing gentle movement and breath meditations to increase energetic alignment and openness to the Rites.

This workshop is open to people of all faith traditions or gender identities. Because of COVID precautions, registration is limited to 12. If you have a specific accommodation need, please contact Sydney at bodyandearth18@gmail.com.
